Tree falls onto Bethesda house

MONTGOMERY CO. – A tree fell onto a house in Bethesda, causing significant damage, officials say.

The tree landed on the unoccupied house and a car in the driveway at the 4500 block of South Chelsea Lane.

There were no injuries.

An inspector posted that the house was unsafe to occupy.

Officials say the power was also disconnected.
