MONTGOMERY CO., Md. - The man accused of killing three people inside a Brookeville home killed himself as Montgomery County Police surrounded his home late Monday night.

Police say they responded to a home in the 22000 block of Brown Farm Way around 3:45 p.m. for a reported disturbance.

According to police, Christopher Snyder, 41, attacked six people inside a neighbor's home. One of the three people who escaped was Snyder's wife said police.

Montgomery County Police Department spokesman Paul Stark said negotiations with Snyder began around 8:30 p.m. Those negotiations lasted about two and half hours before Snyder ended his own life according to police.

Police remained on the scene for several hours searching Snyder's home for bombs and evidence.
