Man dead after driving into trees

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO. – A man is dead in a one-vehicle collision, police say.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Adelphi Road and 26th Place.

Preliminary investigation shows that the driver left the roadway for a reason still under investigation and struck trees.

Police say the driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
