LOUDOUN CO. – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported sexual assault of a minor that happened Friday night in the Lansdowne area.

Deputies say they were called to the Lansdowne Campus of Inova Loudoun Hopsital Saturday where a victim says she was sexually assaulted the previous evening.

The teen says she was grabbed and sexually assaulted by an unknown male Friday between 7 and 8 p.m. when she was walking at the 43400 block of Lees Mill Square.

Deputies say the suspect is described as a tall Hispanic male, approximately 18-years-old, and was wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up and jeans with holes in them. He was further described as having a short beard and a mustache and had short curly hair with a small white patch of hair or bald spot on the back of his head. The suspect was said to have a red and gold U.S. Marine Corp lanyard hanging from a pocket of his jeans.

Authorities say the suspect left the area on foot after the assault. The victim went home and reported the incident to her family the following evening.

Detectives ask anyone with information to contact them at 703-777-0475.
