MONTGOMERY CO. – The only thing worse than getting pinched on St. Patrick’s Day would be getting a DUI.
Montgomery County Police announced they will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Saturday along with the Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police, and Gaithersburg Police.
Police want to remind motorists to have a plan, drive responsibly, and choose a sober driver.
Officials say this enforcement is a component of the Department’s continuing effort to curb impaired driving and underage drinking.
The location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance.
