Person located in fuselage of missing plane near Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. – A person has been located in the fuselage of a missing plane by Maryland State Police divers, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Federal officials notified state police Thursday that a single-engine four-passenger plane that was en route to Ocean City had not yet returned.

A search was initiated in the morning and air patrol crews located an oil slick in the ocean 1.5 miles away from the Ocean City Airport.

Natural Resource Officers have recovered debris believed to be that of an aircraft, officials say.

It is unknown how many passengers were on board, the but the U.S. Coast Guard says they are searching for Banica Robinson and Marcson Ngwa in connection to the plane crash.
