WASHINGTON, D.C. - This week's Opening Act is "Old Dog" Bobby Stevens, a singer/songwriter from D.C. who toured with Link Wray and performs all up and down the east coast. He has performed alongside The Turtles, Fifth Dimension, Royal Guardsmen, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Although Bobby originally started his solo act accompanied only by an acoustic guitar, he quickly became bored with the limitations. First he added a drum machine, then a harmonizer that allowed him to do three-part harmony on-the-fly. But mostly, he missed playing electric guitar. So he added midi-files and sequenced “tracks” to his arsenal and got back to what he’d been doing all those years while playing in bands.

Bobby performed at Quincy's Bar & Grille in Gaithersburg, a local bar with live music 5 nights a week. Quincy's has three locations across the DMV area where people can come together to watch sports, listen to music, have drinks and food, and get social.
