D.C. Police searching for man in first degree sexual abuse

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police need your help finding a suspect in a first degree sexual abuse that happened Saturday in Southeast, D.C.

The incident happened at the 3500 block of 19th Street around 1 a.m.

Police say the man approached the victim at her residence, threatened her with a gun, and forced her inside. The suspect sexually assaulted the woman and then fled the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a handgun.
