Medical technician arrested for sexually assaulting patient

PRINCE WILLIAM CO. – A worker at a Woodbridge medical center has been arrested for sexually assaulting a patient while performing a medical procedure, police say.

Police began their investigation February 12 into the incident that happened at Carient Heart and Vascular.

Police say their investigation revealed that 53-year-old Zakayo Kabuga inappropriately touched a 43-year-old woman while she was undergoing a procedure.

Kabuga was arrested on February 15 and charged with sexual battery, officials say.

He is being held without bond.
