2 arrested for transporting up to $25,000 worth of heroin, cocaine
FREDERICK CO. – A man and a woman have been arrested for transporting large amounts of heroin and cocaine from Baltimore, Frederick County Police say.
Police received information in October 2017 that Brenda Staub has been distributing drugs to Frederick City and Frederick County residents. Police say a number of sources stated they had overdosed from heroin purchased from Staub.
Police confirmed Friday that Staub was travelling to Baltimore and would be bringing back a large amount of drugs. Detectives conducted surveillance of Staub over the course of the day and later conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the 1400 block of Key Parkway, authorities say.
While searching the vehicle, police say they found 117 grams of cocaine with a street distribution value between $10,000-$15,000. Police also say they located 60 grams of heroin worth about $10,000.
Police arrested and charged Staub along with another man in the car, Mark Boone with multiple counts of possession.
