Va. assistant principal arrested for stealing from Target

FAIRFAX CO. – A northern Virginia assistant principal was arrested for stealing hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from Target.

47- year-old Melissa Tochterman, an assistant principal of Hunter Woods Elementary School in Fairfax County, was arrested for shoplifting $690 worth of items from Target Thursday, police say.

Police officers reviewed video footage of Tochterman leaving the store with merchandise she did not pay for and then placed her under arrest for grand larceny.
