A strong cold front brought some showers this morning, along with gusty winds. Temperatures jumped into the upper 60s, but are now on the way down. Tonight will be much cooler with overnight lows in the 30s (some upper 20s in the coolest areas to the west).

The rest of the week will be dry and cool, with ample sunshine and afternoon highs in the 40s. A developing southerly flow will bring a return of warmer weather this weekend. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.

We’ll be dry Saturday, but rain is likely on Sunday as the next storm system moves through the Mid-Atlantic. Following the rain, we’ll be cooler again early next week.
