3 civilians, 1 officer fall through ice at Prince George’s lake

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO. – Three civilians and one police officer fell through the ice at a lake in Glenridge Park in Prince George’s County Sunday.

The officer was in the process of rescuing the three males in the water when the officer also fell through the ice, officials say.

Prince George’s firefighters rescued all four using ropes and ladders.

The air temperature was 46 degrees at the time. Two males and the officer were transported to the hospital for Hypothermia. The other male left the scene.
