Four injured in quadruple shooting in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department is reporting that four people were injured in a drive-by shooting on Wednesday.

Police say it happened at the intersection of 16th Street and U Street Northwest. Police say three victims were transported to the hospital, two men and one woman. Officials report that the female victim is in serious condition, while the other two victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. A fourth victim came to the hospital later with a graze wound.

Police believe the suspect or suspects were driving a light colored sedan. Police also say they believe the shots were fired from inside the car. At this time , there is no word on motive or any suspect descriptions.
