Shooting in Prince George’s Co. leaves one man dead

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO– Detectives with Prince George’s Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Thursday. The victim is 27-year-old Armani Coles of 2nd Street in NW Washington. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Thursday at 6:20 pm, officers were called to the intersection of Kenilworth Avenue and Eastern Avenue in Capitol Heights to check on a man lying in the roadway. When the officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. It’s believed the victim was pushed out of a vehicle after being shot. Detectives are working to determine where the shooting occurred and establish a suspect.
