Body found in burnt out car in SE DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a burned out car Thursday night in the 800 block of Adrian Place in Southeast, D.C.

The car was found in an alley near G St. SE & Ridge Rd. SE. Once the fire was extinguished, an unconscious and unresponsive adult female was discovered inside of the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined there were no signs consistent with life. The decedent has not been identified at this time.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest.
