Metro will run until 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Planning to be out late partying on New Year’s Eve? Metro has good news. WMATA announced Thursday that there would be late-night rail service until 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
There’s also no scheduled maintenance that day after 6 p.m., and none the next day. WMATA said in a release they wanted to “provide customers a safe transportation alternative.”
Departure times still vary by station, as usual; customers can check last train times for NYE by clicking here and adding three hours to the regular last train time.
