WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Police are looking for two suspects who they say fled after an officer spotted a gun in their car, then crashed into a police cruiser and flipped their own vehicle before fleeing on foot.

Around 5 a.m. on November 14, D.C. police responded to a call about a man with a gun along Barnaby Terrace in Southeast. When officers approached the car, they say they saw two suspects inside along with a handgun. The suspects then reportedly drove away, hitting a parked MPD cruiser, then crashing and overturning in the 4100 block of Wheeler Road.

The suspects fled on foot, as seen in the video above. Detectives are looking to identify them in connection with the alleged offense of carrying a pistol without a license. Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099.
