Sexual Assault investigation in Woodbridge

PRINCE WILLIAM CO. – The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public to help in an investigation by providing information about a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a home in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County.
On November 14 around 6:30 p.m, officers responded to a residence  to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 54-year-old woman, was standing in her kitchen when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown male assailant. During the encounter, the suspect inappropriately touched the victim. The victim was eventually able to break free from the suspect who then fled on foot.  A police K-9 responded to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
The suspects is said to be a dark skinned male who last seen wearing a ski mask, dark coat, and dark jeans.
