WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Prince William County Police say they are looking for three suspects after a road rage incident led to a home invasion.

Police say on Thursday, around 8:11 p.m., a 19-year-old man had a “road rage encounter” while out driving.

A car, with three people inside, followed the man to his home in the 11700 block of Gascony Place.

Police say the suspects forced themselves inside and assaulted a 43-year-old man and 49-year-old woman also living in the home.

DCW50 learned that they are the man’s parents.

Police say one of the suspects, a woman, was armed with a handgun. Another suspect took a bat from the mother inside the home and used it to beat her husband.

They are still looking for the suspects.

The family told DCW50 while their injuries are improving, the emotional damage will take some time to move on from.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a black Honda civic with a yellow stripe on the side.
