Surveillance video released 2014 Chillum homicide

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. -- Police have released surveillance video of the 2014 murder of a man at his home in Prince George's County.

Hollis Johnson, 36, was killed on October 27, 2014, in the entryway of his apartment building.  Police say the video above shows the suspect in the case approaching the building while Johnson holds the door open, then fatally shooting him and fleeing in a light-colored, four-door sedan with halogen headlights and tinted windows.

The shooting took place along Chillum Road. The victim and suspect are not believed to have known each other. Police say they suspect there are people out there with critical information in this unsolved case, and are offering a $25,000 reward to tipsters.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.
