Rock-and-roll fan? Jimi Hendrix fan? Well, you’re going to want to check out our latest NewsPlus show. Mark Segraves talked with filmmaker, Jeff Krulik, about the upcoming reunion at The Ambassador Theater-a psychedelic dance hall in Adams Morgan where in 1967, hosted Jimi Hendrix, Canned Heat, Moby Grape, The Hollies, John Lee Hooker, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Vanilla Fudge, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band and more, including local bands Crystal Mesh, Fallen Angels and Mosaic Virus among others.

Later in the show, Segraves talked with photographer, Virginia Vertiz, and musician,Joe Dolan, about the legendary Jimi Hendrix and the culture during his performance at The Ambassador Theater. In particular, Vertiz discusses and reveals a never-before-seen photo of Jimi Hendrix burning his guitar.
