Police search for Sterling burglar who assaulted underage girl
LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — The sheriff’s office has released a composite sketch of a suspect who reportedly attempted to break into a home in Sterling on Friday night, and assaulted a juvenile girl.
Police say the victim reports that around 9 p.m., a man opened the kitchen window of her home on the 1300 block of E. Lee Road. He climbed partially in, assaulted the girl, and then climbed back out and fled the area.
The man is described as a black male with a heavier build, in his late teens to early twenties. He was wearing a white shirt with writing on the front on the night of the incident. The victim said she’d seen the suspect in the area a few days prior to the incident.
