UPDATE: Police arrested two suspects for murder in Silver Springs

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police Department have arrested Jesus Ponce Flores, 18, and David Laguens-Bolanos, 17. They were charged with the murder of 20 year old Cristopher Alfredo Funes Guerra.

SILVER SPRING, Md. – Montgomery County Police are investigating after a body was located in a park in Silver Spring, Maryland on Wednesday.

According to officials, officers received a call from a neighbor who found a man’s body in a creek while hiking in the Long Branch Stream Valley Park in the 8800 block of Garland Avenue in Silver Spring.

Investigators responded to the scene, including officers from the Maryland National Capitol Park Police Department. Police say the body was recovered and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore where an autopsy will performed.
