Montgomery County Police searching for pregnant teacher

MONTGOMERY CO., MD —  Detectives in Montgomery County are searching for a pregnant teacher who went missing over Labor Day weekend.

Police and family are concerned for Laura Elizabeth Wallen’s emotional and physical welfare. According to detectives her family last heard from her through text on Sunday, September 3.

Investigators believe that she may be driving a black 2011 Ford Escape with Maryland tags: M522473. Her family on a Facebook post said Wallen is 16 weeks pregnant. Police have described as a white female about 5’5” tall and weighs 200 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

According to Howard County Public School’s the 31-year-old is a social studies teacher at Wilde Lake High School.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Laura Elizabeth Wallen is asked to call the 24-hour police non-emergency line at 301-279-8000.
