WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Jazz pianist Aaron Abernathy serenaded museum-goers in a performance at the Smithsonian American Art Museum's Luce Foundation Center.

Abernathy is a vocalist and keyboard player from Cleveland who got his start playing at Howard University in DC. Learn more about him here.

Luce Unplugged is a free, monthly concert series that brings musical talent from around DC to perform at the Luce Foundation Center. This performance was prefaced by a staff-led art talk on an artwork selected by Abernathy.  More info about the concert series here.
