REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — An 81-year-old woman from Rockville was arrested Wednesday in Rehoboth on charges of trying to use counterfeit tickets to access the rides at Funland on the beach.

Around 7:30 p.m. on August 9, an employee who had worked at Funland for a few years called their manager after identifying Marilyn Hammerman’s tickets as counterfeit. The police were called, and arrested Hammerman. In a statement, they claim Hammerman was in possession of “approximately 20 fraudulent tickets”.

She has been charged with one count of theft of services under $1,500, and released on $100 bail.
