Delays on the MARC-Penn line after pedestrian struck

ODENTON, Md. – Officials report that a person was fatally struck by an Amtrak train in Odenton, Maryland, causing delays on the MARC-Penn line.

According to the Maryland Transit Administration, Penn live service is suspended until further notice. Officials say the Washington Metro is open for MARC passengers from New Carrollton to DC. The Camden Line is operating normally, as well, and will honor tickets for Penn Line riders.
