One dead after gas station crash in Northeast

WASHINGTON, D.C. — One is dead after a car crashed into a Hess gas station in Northeast DC early Saturday morning.

The gas station was damaged, and firefighters said there was a fire at the scene, which they put out as well as activating an emergency fuel cutoff.

The crash occurred around 3 a.m. . One passenger was pronounced dead on the scene, and the other was transported with serious injuries.
