Vehicle crashes into DC apartment building

WASHINGTON, D.C. – D.C. Fire and EMS reports that a vehicle crashed into an apartment building in Southeast D.C. early Thursday morning.

According to officials, the vehicle crashed into a building in the 5000 block of D Street, Southeast. The vehicle breached a wall at the apartment complex. At this time, DC Fire and EMS says it is evacuating residents from the building.

Officials say they are assessing two patients. They also report that there is no entrapment.
