Motorcyclist killed in crash in Prince George’s Co.

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., Md. – According to the Prince George’s County police, a motorcyclist is dead after an accident on Indian Head Highway.

Officials say the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. when officers responded to calls about an accident. A preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle was heading northbound on Indian Head Highway when he struck the rear of the car. Police say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the car that was struck suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The northbound section of Indian Head Highway and Palmer Road were shut down, and the southbound lane of Indian Head Highway and Kirby Road were limited to one lane.
