PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. -- Police have arrested one suspect in a July double homicide in Suitland, and are currently searching for another.

Around 7:30 p.m. on July 9, officers responded to an alleyway in the 4600 block of Silver Hill Road for reports of a shooting. They found Courtney Simms, 22, and Anthony Douglas, 23, both fatally wounded.

There are three suspects in this case, but only two have been identified: Jharrod Armstrong, 19, who is in custody, and Robert Suesbery, 27, who remains at large but has a search warrant out for his arrest.

The surveillance video that police released shows three suspects getting out of a car and walking off-screen to the two victims. The shooting occurs, and one suspect runs back to the car. Detectives believe the suspects wanted to rob the victims.

Armstrong and Suesbery are both charged with first and second degree murder. Armstrong is in custody in DC, awaiting extradition to Prince George's.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.
