Brazen armed robbery in Northeast

WASHINGTON, DC –  DC Police detectives  are releasing new surveillance video showing an armed man walking into a convenience store in Northeast DC on Tuesday.

Police say around 5 a.m. the suspect walked into the store on the 700 block of H Street, brandishing a handgun.

DC Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery. Police say the robbery happened in the 700 block of H Street, Northeast, on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

The suspect demanded money and within seconds you can see both clerks emptying all three cash registers. Police say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

If you recognize the suspect you’re asked to call police immediately. The department is currently offering up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.  Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099.  Additionally, information may be submitted to the text tip line by sending a text message to 50411.
