35-pound cat finds a loving home

UPDATE: On Friday, Humane Rescue announced that Symba has been adopted by a family.

WASHINGTON, DC —  A cat that is 35 pounds is looking for a new home in the DMV.

Meet Symba – he’s six years old and working to shed a few pounds. The Humane Rescue Alliance says this cat is bigger than a lion club but he’s sweet, mellow and waiting for a new home where he can thrive.
