Firefighter injured in Reston house fire

RESTON, Va. – Fairfax County Fire and Rescue reports that while working a house a fire in Reston, Virginia, one firefighter was injured.

According to officials, the fire started early Wednesday morning in the 1600 block of Greenbriar Court at a two-story townhouse. The fire was extinguished, but there official say that a firefighter was injured during the incident. They report that it was a non-life threatening injury and that the firefighter is currently being evaluated.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says that there was no extension from this fire.

At this time, there is no word on what caused this fire.
