Man arrested in his father’s fatal stabbing at Prince George’s County home

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A Fort Washington man is behind bars today after police say he stabbed his father in a domestic dispute.

Roland Proctor, 64, is charged with first and second degree murder in the death of his father, James Proctor, 82.

Officers responded to the 9000 block of Mill Street for a welfare check on Thursday morning. They found James Proctor dead, suffering from stab wounds.

Roland Proctor is in custody without bond.
