Suspect in UMd. stabbing charged with first degree murder

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — A University of Maryland student has been arrested and charged with the fatal stabbing of a Bowie student who was killed on campus yesterday.

The victim was found around 3 a.m. on May 20, suffering from serious stab wounds on the sidewalk. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The next day, Sean Urbanski, 22, was charged with first and second degree murder, as well as first degree assault.

Prince George’s County Police stopped Urbanski on Regents Drive, and witnesses reportedly identified him as having assaulted the victim.
