Woman struck, killed by vehicle in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that happened late Friday night.

According to officials, officer responded to the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Farmington Road East around 12:45 a.m. for reports of a pedestrian struck by a car. When they arrived they found an adult woman who had been hit. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say the vehicle that struck the woman did not remain on the scene.

At this time, the northbound lanes of Route 210 are closed at Farmington Road.
