PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — There has been a break in the case of a woman who went missing back in April, after her boyfriend told detectives that he had killed her and thrown her body in a dumpster.

Turkessa Paige, 41, was in a romantic relationship with the suspect, who says he killed her on April 13. Paige was reported missing by a family member on April 27.

While investigating her whereabouts, police found evidence that suggested Michael Proctor, 35, may have harmed Paige. During a conversation with detectives on May 13, Proctor told them he was responsible for her killing.

He has been charged with first and second degree murder, and is being held without bond. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.
