MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Court documents show that the former director of security for Richard Montgomery High School has been taken into custody after police say he violated an order to stay away from a minor he was previously charged with the sexual abuse of.

Yantsos had been arrested on charges of sexual abuse of a minor and sexual offense in the fourth degree. Police say he befriended a juvenile student at the school to groom her for a sexual relationship.

Mark Yantsos, 57, was arrested after police say he defied an April bond order to stay away from the victim, who he had plied with friendship and gifts.

The documents show that Yantsos is accused of violating the order to not contact the victim or any other minors. They claim that he not only contacted her throughout late April and early May, but had vaginal intercourse with her on May 2nd. He is also accused of giving the victim $100 on that same day.

Yantsos had posted a $75,000 bond secured by collateral, but after his bond was revoked, he was arrested Friday.
