DC police identify man stabbed to death Sunday afternoon in NE

WASHINGTON DC — A man was stabbed and killed Sunday afternoon in Northeast DC.

A call for help was placed around 1:40 p.m. for the 600 block of C St. NE. When emergency responders arrived they found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was not transported to the hospital and homicide investigation began.

That man was identified Monday as David Norwood, 79 of Northeast, DC.

No further information about his death is available at this time.

Police have not released any information about any potential suspects in this case.
