NewsPlus: Kristy Greenwalt discusses the homeless crisis in D.C.

Recently, Mayor Bowser had put up fencing under the Whitehurst Freeway to prevent homeless tent encampments. Tents were given to the homeless by good samaritans, but with the added fences many homeless are forced to move out of the area. However, the homeless have moved their tents right across the street.  Kristy Greenwalt joins Mark Segraves in studio to discuss the next steps in regards to the homeless crisis in the nation’s capital. Greenwalt is the director of the D.C. Interagency Council on Homelessness.
