ICE arrests father of Rockville High School rape suspect

ROCKVILLE, MD —  The father of one the suspects in the Rockville High School rape case has been arrested by ICE agents.

According to an ICE spokesperson, 43-year-old Adolfo Sanchez-Reyes, a citizen of Guatemala, was arrested on March 24.

ICE says after reviewing Sanchez-Reyes immigration history, the review revealed he was unlawfully present in the U.S. The agency issued the 43-year-old a notice to show up in an immigration court and is currently being held at the Howard County Detention Center in Jessup, Maryland.

Sanchez-Reyes is the father of Henry Sanchez-Milian,18.

Sanchez-Milian and another Rockville student, 17, have been charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense of a 14-year-old girl inside a bathroom at the Montgomery County high school.
