PRINCE WILLIAM CO., VA — Officers found human remains during a canvass Monday morning in Manassas.

Prince William County Police say that around 11:30 a.m., officers were scouring the area along the creek bed of Bull Run near the 7500 block of Ben Lomond Park Drive.

The Medical Examiner’s office is working on identifying the human remains, once they have a positive identification, officers will notify next of kin.

The department says there’s no threat to the community as this incident does not appear to be random and no foul play is suspected at this time.
