Man, toddler, and teen killed in Waldorf quadruple shooting

UPDATE: The teenage girl shot and transferred to a hospital last night after the shooting has passed away, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s office. She was 17 years old.


WALDORF, Md. – The Charles County Sheriff’s Office reports a quadruple shooting in Waldorf, Maryland on Thursday night. A man and young child were killed, while a woman and a teenager were injured.

According to officials, officers responded to the 3300 block of Westdale Court around 8:17 p.m. Thursday nigh after reports of shots fired. When the officers arrived, they found an adult male victim who had died on the scene. They also located a young girl who had also died. Officers report that two other victims were found, an adult woman and teenage girl. They were transported to a local hospital and were in critical condition. The identities of the victims will be released once the next of kin have been notified.

At this time, the Sheriff’s Office believes this incident is domestic related. Officers were able to find a gun located near the male victim. The investigation is currently ongoing.
