DC police searching for armed robbery suspect

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Investigators need the public’s help tracking down a man, they say robbed a convenience store last week.

Surveillance video shows a man walking into the store on 1200 block of Brentwood Road, Northeast on Wednesday, March 8.

Around 8:45 p.m. the suspect walked into the store, then the video shows him picking an item and heading to the register to check out.  As the employee finished the transaction, officers say the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cash register.

The video shows, the employee handing the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.
