PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., MD —  A fire truck tipped over after a sidewalk collapsed in Prince George’s County Monday morning.

According to the department’s spokesperson, two volunteers were in the tower’s bucket when the sidewalk collapsed causing the basket to hit the ground. Both volunteers have minor injuries and are expected to be treated and released.

Crews say they were “wetting down rekindle” from a house fire that started Saturday night on the 4700 block of Oliver Street in Riverdale.

It is unknown the damage caused to the truck’s tower.
