Metro Suspends MetroAccess Paratransit Monday afternoon into Tuesday

WASHINGTON, DC —  Several inches of snow could pile up in the DMV this week, the region’s transit agency is temporarily suspending its MetroAccess Paratransit service for individuals with disabilities.

WMATA announced Sunday that MetroAccess will be suspended starting 4 p.m. on Monday and all day on Tuesday. In a press released they said that service will be restored when it is safe to do so, however, it is unknown when service will be restored.
