Police investigate double stabbing in Sterling

STERLING, Va. – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s office is investigating a double stabbing that happened in the parking lot of a Sterling, Virginia shopping center early Tuesday morning.

According to officials, deputies responded to the 46900 block of Community Plaza. When they arrived, the found two men who had been stabbed by an unknown suspect. Those victims were taken to an area hospital with what police say were non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation. Police say the suspect reportedly left the area in an unknown vehicle. They are still trying to figure out the circumstances around the stabbing. However, officials say there is no indication that there is a threat to the community.
