PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Police have arrested a District Heights woman after they say she admitted her involvement in the fatal stabbing of a man she was romantically involved with.

Melba Williams, 41, was arrested on the scene of the stabbing on Feb. 17, and charged with first and second degree murder. She lives on the 1900 block of Rochell Avenue, where the stabbing took place. The victim is Roger Allen, 45, of no fixed address.

Allen was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. Police say their investigation leads them to believe that the couple got into an argument, which culminated in Williams stabbing Allen.
